Over the festive season we often have lots of visitors to our church events and services. A fantastic way to make our churches more accessible is to have clear directional signage both around the building and outside it.
Think about directing people from the parking facilities to the main entrance, are the toilets clearly marked, entrance and exits clearly marked, any other places in your building that are helpful to know about, do you have directional signage for them. Also consider using simple pictures or signs on your signage as well as the words. Here are some downloadable examples, from the Alzheimers Society, so they are dementia frendly
